The Lesson & I have a tooth ache

Islamabad Club has a long history of hosting the very best plays and attending

The Lesson today was no disappointment.

Organized by Theater Wallay (an amateur actors group), The Lesson is a dark comic set in the mid 20th century France. The Lesson revolves around 2 main character; Enigmatic Teacher and a dull pupil. We will not be giving away the plot but what we can say is the dialogue delivery and the comic timing was perfect. Also the catch phrase used by the pupil “I have a tooth ache” generated roars of laughter among the audience.

WE AT ISLAMABAD THE CAPITAL LOVED THE PLAY AND ARE IN LOVE WITH THE ACTING OF TUGHRAL TURAB ALI, RABIA PASHA and FIZZA HASAN. You guys are AWESOME :)

You can catch The lesson on 24th and 25th of November at Islamabad Club. Passes available at House 9, St 49 , F-6/4 Alliance Francaise Islamabad

Thank you :) Its great to be appreciated. The play required an intelligent audience and we were lucky to have a great crowd all three nights. Very supportive.

I think it was an amazing piece of work. The actors put in their best. The professor was so much into his role that one could not tell whether he was acting or if he had actually started believing that he was ‘the professor’…
